How to create a one-time task?

Productive allows creating not only repetitive but single-time tasks as well.

In this guide, we will show you how to create them and add to your schedule.

First, tap the “+” button at the bottom of the app's main screen and then select "Create Your Own" option at the very bottom.

On the next screen, you will be able to type a name to your task, add a description (optional) and choose its icon and color.

After this, you can select the date when the habit will be set to ("Do it once" field).

Note: To create a one-time task, the "Repeat" option should be disabled.

If you tap “Today" button, a calendar view will open where you can choose a specific date.

You may also want to add a goal, for this please enable the "Goal" option and select necessary parameters.

Below, choose a part of the day to complete the task (you may tap "Any time of the day" if you don't have a specific time preference).

If you would like to set a reminder, please enable the "Remind me at time" option.

After selecting the necessary time, tap "Set time".

Note: You can add up to 6 reminders to a single task.

You can also add a location that triggers your habit ("Remind me at location" option). Your current location will be suggested automatically (if you have Location Access enabled for our app. If not, please visit your device's settings - Privacy - Location Access - Productive), other places can be entered manually from the keyboard or by dropping a pin on the map. Choose either "On Arrival" or "At Departure" option, and press "Done" in the top right corner when finished.

When everything is ready, don't forget to tap "Save" in the top right corner: your freshly created task will appear on the main screen if it is due any time today. If it is set for the next day, open the schedule for tomorrow and check the habit there.

Thank you for choosing our app!
