How to mark habits for previous days?

There is a possibility that you might forget to mark a habit, or task as “done”, or “skipped”, and thus distort your statistics. In order to prevent this from happening, you can change the status of the habits and tasks scheduled for all previous days.

Please, bear in mind that you can mark a habit either as "done", or "skipped" only for the days when it already existed. In other words, you can not add statistics gathered before you started using Productive.

However, you can mark the habits for all previous days after the habit was created.

For this, open the main screen and tap Stats on the left bottom side.


You will be transferred to the Statistics screen. Here, find the day when you forgot to mark a habit and tap it. You will see all the habits schedule for that day. E.g. On December 25 we had to walk the dog, and we want to mark this habit as "done".

Now, when you close the Statistics screen and re-open it you will see that December 25th is highlighted as a successful day and the number of Total perfect days increased from 1 to 2.


You can also do the following:

  1. When on the main screen, find a habit in the All-day/Morning/Afternoon/Evening screen and tap it.
  2. Choose the day you need and tap it.
  3. Find your habit here. To change its status, tap it and either mark as “done”, or “skipped”.

To understand how it works, let’s look at the example below.

Say, today (Tuesday), you have time to mark your achievements for the previous day Wednesday - W.


Once you tap the “W” icon, you will be transferred to the “Wednesday” screen.

As you can see a “Call mom” habit is active. Swipe it right to mark as “done”, or left to mark as “skipped”. In this example, we’ll change the status to “done”.


Wednesday is now marked in your statistics in a filled circle, in other words, as a Perfect day.


Your statistics have improved significantly. Keep on the good work!
